Dismantling & Taking Away Your Old Shed
Our Dismantle & Take Away service is perfect for those looking for an efficient way to replace your shed. Our installation team will dismantle and take away your old shed and install a new one for you all in the same day!
This offers a much less inconvenient and more seamless experience compared to the standard option of having removal company take down your old shed on one day and our installers having to come another day for the installation of your new shed.
If you would like to take advantage of this service either email us on sales@theshedcentre.com or message us on our WhatsApp on +44 208 640 3339. Just add the following to your message and a member of our team will provide a quote for you:
- The size of the shed
- A couple of pictures of the outside of the shed
- At least one picture of the inside of the shed
- A picture showing the top of the roof

Shelving
We offer a few different types of shelving to make sure you get the shelving that’s right for you!

Standard Shelving
Standard shelving is the most popular type of shelves we install. They are just the standard shelving type of a flat shelf fixed to the framing of the shed with metal brackets.
Pros
- Ideal for lighter items
- Very versatile
- Heights are adaptable on the day
Cons
- Not ideal for larger or heavier items

Premium Shelving
Premium shelving is an ideal option for those with a smaller shed as they allow you to take advantage of the gap between the cladding and the framing. We do this by cutting the shelf out around the framing which lets it slot into position.
Pros
- Ideal for small sheds
- With the shelving cut into the framing it saves space on the shed.
- Versatile uses
Cons
- More expensive then Standard Shelving
- Height is difficult to adjust on the day of installation – we need to know prior if you want a specific height as the shelving is usually pre-cut
- Not ideal for larger or heavier items

Bench Shelving
Our bench shelving is quickly becoming one of our most popular options. They feature a slatted or full bench top with legs taking the weight of the items on top away from the walls of the shed and directly to the floor.
This makes them ideal for using as a worktop/workbench and for storing heavier items like paint pots, etc…
Pros
- Very Strong
- Can be used for any shelving purposes
- Can have a slatted top for ventilation or a solid top for a more uniform look
- Transfers weight of the items on the shelf from the walls to the floor
- Shelves can be as wide as you like
Cons
- More expensive then Standard Shelving
- Height cannot be adjusted on the day of installation – we need to know prior if you want a specific height as the legs are pre-made

Guttering
Guttering is a great way to provide additional water management to your shed. By adding guttering to your shed you allow for the following advantages:
- Increases water management
- Collecting rainwater
If you add guttering you are providing a route for the water to go away from the shed helping prolong its life. By no means is guttering essential but it definitely improves the longevity of the shed by directing the rain from the roof directly away from the shed.
If you are planning on putting your shed close up to a wall it is a good idea to add guttering as it stops water from pooling in the small gap between the shed and the wall/fence behind.
If you are looking to collect the rainwater, a gutter is the perfect solution as it can be connected to a water butt. This is the most common reason we are asked to install a gutter!

Painted Buildings
If you are looking for your building to be supplied with an exterior painted finish, this can be done for you for an additional cost by our dedicated painting team.
The overall finish is superb as the paint is sprayed on the building, leaving a smooth appearance.
Not only is this time saving, but it’s also convenient if you are placing your building next to a fence or a wall and will not have access to the restricted sides once the building is installed.
The building will first be treated inside and outside with our standard base coat preservative. Then a knot blocker is applied on the outside to help stop the knots from bleeding through the paint.
Finally, the exterior of the building will receive 2 coats of the colour of your choice. You can keep it simple with one colour all over or to help personalise your building, you can choose up to 2 colours per building at no extra cost.
